Said the TV announcer at 10 am. All I thought as I saw outside the window was "Really you call this fall????" Anyways point being is San Diego you and beautiful and sunny and I don't want to go back to cold Michigan!
I then layed back down still a bit jet lagged and because Josh (roommate) and I didn't get to our hotel till 3 am. Realized that getting here was quite an interesting journey by itself. We left Detriot at 5:30 pm and although airport security did there typically random search(always seem to get some troubles at the airport) that was the smooth part. Our first flight was to Cincinnati then to San Diego.
Upon arriving to Cincinnati it turns out out plane was overloaded with people and for 400 Delata Bux you could take a another plan and get there a hour later. So I took the deal said bye to Josh and took the other plane. Although our departure was suppose to be earlier because this plane went to Atlanta then San Diego we actually departed an hour later then scheduled because they had to "reboot the plane"?????? Not sure what the meant but I'm assuming they were running Windows.
So our plane leaves and we get to San Diego Josh is nearly passed out since its 2 am, 5am michigan time, and I was 2.5 hours late. Felt really bad I had to have him waiting but what happens happens.
We get onto a shuttle and tell him "Comfort Inn at Mission Bay please" he nods takes off and drops us off at a Comfort Inn then drives off. We get inside and they guy tells us we don't have a reservation there. Confused we look at our hotel reservation and ask "Isn't this the Comfort Inn Mission Bay?" he replies:
"No this the the Comfort Inn Hotel Loop" turns out the driver dropped us off a the wrong hotel. We call another shuttle and get picked up by a driver with beer in the front seat. He seems half alive and tells us he has been working for 24 hors straight and beer and coffee is his power source! His driving reflected that as he took turns like mad and made a 30 minute drive into 15!

Nevertheless we arrive in one piece and passed out on our beds and prepare to wake up at 8 am for the Society for Neuroscience conference. But I Will get to that another post probably tomorrow so stay tuned!
